Salon Owner / National Art Director / National Educator

Jo’s passion for hair started at the early age of 10, mesmerised, watching her aunty working in a hair salon cutting hair for hours. At 15 she started her hairdressing apprenticeship in a small town in the UK called Bury St Edmunds and from there on, nothing would stand in her way to become one of Melbourne’s most respected hairdressers.

Seven years later she became a TONI&GUY hairdresser and quickly joined the Art Team and worked her way up to Style Director, teaching at the Manchester Academy.

In 2003, Jo relocated to Australia to successfully open her own salon, TONI&GUY Georges in the heart of Melbourne CBD on Little Collins Street. Jo’s talents as a hairdresser have allowed her to travel the world educating fellow hairdressers in the UK, Australia and Asia.

Jo has been finalist for AHFA Victorian hairdresser of the year 4 times and is currently 2018 finalist

Jo loves to inspire and be inspired by her clients and her amazing team who she gets to work alone side everyday. She enjoys all aspects of hairdressing from long hair styling to precision cutting & men’s barbering.

Jacqueline Read

Salon Manager & Coordinator

Jacqueline began working for TONI&GUY Georges in 2005 as salon receptionist & worked her way into a managerial role, becoming Salon Manager/Co-ordinator in 2010. Jacqueline has built a strong rapport & relationship with the loyal clientele at TONI&GUY Georges in the Melbourne CBD.

Jacqueline has a great passion for fashion and style. Working in the hair and fashion industry allows her to channel this passion. She loves seeing the amazing hair transformations the talented and inspirational team of stylists and technicians here at TONI&GUY Georges on Little Collins Street create on a daily basis.

Jack Morton

National Technical Director / TONI&GUY Personal Development Coordinator

Jack began working for TONI&GUY in the UK in 2001. Working with a strong creative team under a disciplined training structure attracted Jack to the company and the focus on change and evolution has kept him with them ever since.

Jack’s clients on a daily basis are his biggest inspiration, and he feels privileged to have been their hairdresser for many years. Building a strong relationship with his clients enables Jack to recommend the perfect techniques to suit their lifestyle.

His knowledge and passion for colour has earned him the prestigious Australian colourist of the year 2014 as well as the accolade of Master colour expert for Wella professional.

Lat year Jack was a finalist for AHFA Colourist of the year 2017. Jack also became the National Technical Director for TONI&GUY Australia and educates regularly for Wella Professionals all over the country as well as overseas.

Eunji Kim

Art Director / Head Technician

Eunji has been in the hairdressing industry since 2001, spending 2 years as an Educator for TONI&GUY in Korea, and at TONI&GUY Melbourne Central since 2013.
Eunji’s passion for hair began at a young age, begging to go into hairdressing salons to sit and watch hairdressers at work. Eunji continues to be inspired by watching hairdressers around her & fashion magazines.
Eunji is involved backstage of fashion and hair shows all over Australia, always learning and wanting to share this knowledge with her clients
She loves all aspects of her job from men’s barbering to styling long hair for that special event to a complete colour change!

Dana Monkman

Head Technician / Top Stylist

Dana graduated from Hair school in Winnipeg, Canada in 1994 & was lucky enough to become an apprentice at an amazing salon and move on to the floor quickly. Dana worked with some of the top stylists in Winnipeg and was big on continuing her education.

Dana moved on to spend 5 years working at Essensuals in Toronto before heading to Melbourne in 2010. Dana joined the team at TONI&GUY Georges on Little Collins Street in 2012 as a Stylist to pursue her dream to work for TONI&GUY. TONI&GUY are the leaders in education and trendsetting which is why Dana loves being a part of the TONI&GUY team.

In 2014 she was given the opportunity to put her scissors away & fill the role of Technician in the salon and follow her true passion, her love for colour!

Dana has worked up towards her new position as Head Technician and helps train the younger members of the team. She loves helping on set of photo shoots and has become the Wella Trends Semi Finalist. She is known for creating beautiful balayage with all colours.

Nadia Semanic

Style Director

Nadia has been hairdressing since 2008 and moved from Adelaide to join the TONI&GUY Georges team in July 2015. Nadia approaches her work with a thoughtfulness & creativeness beyond her years & was awarded WINNER of the 2015 & 2016 AHFA Avant Garde Hairdresser of the Year and 2015 RAW Hairstylist of the Year.

Nadia continuously undertakes courses both nationally and internationally and seeks inspiration from her surroundings and searches for things out of the ordinary to enrich her work.

Nadia has worked up to her new role as Style Director and National Educator for Australia, traveling all over Australia educating hairdresser of all levels around the country.
Nadia loves working back stage at fashion and hair shows, and working for magazines.
Her barbering skills are strong as well as here precision cutting, she is always wanting share here ongoing learning with her clients.
